Description:
The noise protection wall (LSW) running parallel to the airport ring in the north-west of Frankfurt Airport is to be erected between gates 27 and 27and essentially consists of reinforced concrete slabs lying on top of each other, which are held in place by means of a supporting structure (also made of reinforced concrete). Based on the experience gained with the partial demolitions carried out so far, the slabs are to be excavated, the supporting structures (trusses) must be attachedeventually be aborted. The excavated slabs and the material that accumulates when the supporting structure is demolished are to be transported to an interim storage area of the client (max. distance 5.0 km) and from there to be disposed of or recycled by a third party.
