- As part of the maintenance work on the runways at Frankfurt am Main Airport, the rubber abrasion left behind by the landing aircraft has to be removed several times a year, purely at night, to ensure the surface roughness. The deviation occurring during rubber abrasion removalWater is to be treated for discharge into the waste water network in accordance with the limit values for waste water discharge from Fraport AG and the drainage statute of the city of Frankfurt am Main.
