In this project, a processing of data from the UBA emissions program together with data from the literature to the current state of knowledge on issuers of UFP in the respective areas of the transport sector (road traffic, mobile machines, inland waterway, rail traffic, air traffic (domestic, airport) and their emission volumes in Germany. On the basis of the collected data and the literature research, the recommendations for future measurement requirements in the individual issuer groups should be formulated in this area. On the other hand, targeted reduction measures for UFP emissions in the transport sector are to be developed and their potential impact will be estimated. The aim of this analysis is to be able to develop concrete and effective reduction measures for traffic and to explain which gaps to conclude it is to be able to recommend concrete measures.
