- The enlargement of the data volume, the so-called Energy Data Space, as well as the large variety of data (sensor, interaction, measurement data), which is associated with digitization and decentralization, generally offers the theoretical way to supplement existing official statistics, as wellto empirically grasp new, previously unexplored relationships and facts. In practice, however, the recording of relevant devices or machine data is a major challenge, since these are currently very occasionally occasionally, not publicly and non-transparent and thus forthe statistics and their target groups (political decision -makers, science, business, economy, public) are not accessible.
In the sense of a strategic, forward-looking way of working, the growing Energy Data Space of decentralized electricity and heat generation from renewable energies appliesto be able to use early.
