Description:
The national natural heritage (NNE) stands for an exemplary nature conservation initiative of the federal government, in which federal areas that are no longer used are transferred to nature conservation players with the obligation to secure them permanently for nature conservation.
Nationwide, the NNE currently comprises around 164,000 ha.
In the respective systems for the transmission agreements of areas of the national nature (except those with the DBU), it is stated that the federal government reserves to check as part of a cross -sectional evaluation whether the agreed transfer purpose was preserved. With the general decree of February 1st, 2019, the BMUV has commissioned the BFN to commission the national nature of the natural heritage.
In the F+E-projects "Support for the development of a technical concept for the evaluation of the NNE surface scenery with regard to the long-term securing of the NNE target positions" (FKZ 3517830500) and "Procedure testing for the cross-sectional evaluation of the national natural heritage (NNE)" (FKZ 3521 83 0100) a suitable concept for evaluating the national nature was developed.
