Excavation work in Ukraine in area 2 (Western Ukraine) It is carried out by the German War Graves Commission. V., based in Niestetal (Germany), intends to award a framework agreement for excavation work in parts of Ukraine. This tender refers to the area 2 in western Ukraine. The contract is scheduled to start on January 1st, 2026 and end on December 31st, 2026. This means the term is 12 months. The most important goal of the excavation work is to clarify the fate of the recovered German war dead.
