Description:
The district of Neustadt a.d.waldnaab plans the expansion and conversion of the Lobkowitz Realschule in Neustadt a.d.waldnaab.
The existing real school building must be expanded and converted in some areas.
22 classrooms have been used in the existing school building so far, and are also currently Another 12 classes provisionally housed in containers.
Extensions for specialist rooms, administration and all -day school are also planned. In total the program area of existing and expansion is approx. 7,600 sqm, including approx. 4,000 sqm of new construction.
The school yard systems with an integrated multi -purpose playing field and parking spaces are to be planned.
The implementation of the measure is planned in construction phases and in ongoing school operations.
The connection the junior high school to the district heating network of the school hill with a connection performance of 500 kW in 2017.
This management can be used in coordination with the local energy supplier for the planned expansion of the junior high school.
An architectural competition was held for the project in 2024.

The client expects costs for expansion and renovation of the school of approx. EUR 27.0 million without VAT for the cost groups 300 and 400.
