- Property planning building The city of Alzey is a growing municipality that is seeing continued influx, not least due to the new settlement of the pharmaceutical company Lily Deutschland. Increasing student numbers, the new school building guidelines and the Requirements for all-day care can no longer be reconciled with the existing space available and urgently require an expansion and optimization of the Nibelungen primary school. This forecast was last confirmed (01/2025) by the school inspectorate recognized and an expansion into a 4-grade primary school was approved. The subject of the order is the architectural planning services (HOAI § 34) for a connected extension building including the demolition of the neighboring gymnasium and the redesign of Sections in the existing school. Property planning building according to § 34 HOAI The Nibelungenschule is located in the eastern part of the city of Alzey and is accessible to the west via Nibelungenstraße and to the north via Krimhildenstraße. It lies in one urban development area and is characterized by a high proportion of different, cultural neighborhoods. The school was built between 1909-11 and has seen a lot in the past hundred years. The existing building consists of a point-shaped main building with external access and an adjacent row-shaped extension.
