The planned cycle path will cover the entire length of approx. 2,500 m with a width of 3.00 m in concrete construction. The route of the new cycle path is based on the existing pavement along its entire length. The gradient of the new cycle path is created by the high installation of the gravel base layer and the concrete surface raised to minimize soil excavation and utilize the existing gravel base. Due to the simultaneous use of the cycle path by agricultural traffic, the sufficient concrete thickness for cycle paths according to RSTO 12, Table 6 Line 2 is 12 cm increased to 14 cm in accordance with the guidelines for rural road construction DWA-A 904, Figure 8.3a (medium load). Due to the almost exclusively F3 soils, a thickness of 44 cm was chosen for the frost-proof superstructure in accordance with DWA.
