Description:
The Catholic Clinic in Koblenz-Montabaur plans to expand the emergency room and establishment of the admission and investigation center (AUZ). The planned expansion of the emergency room includes the immediate establishment of a clarification unit and investigation capacities, which directly adjacentto be built on the existing premises of the emergency room. The areas provided for this were previously used for endoscopy, which was already rebuilt in a different part of the building. This enables quick implementation without interim measures. The clarification unit is with aMinimum size of 6 beds planned, which can be used both as an investigation and clarification places. This measure is necessary to meet the requirements of GBA level 1 and to cope with the increasing number of cases in the emergency room. The existing laboratory area willlargely dissolved, with a room for basic diagnostics and rehearsal distribution. A chief physician group is to be created in the remaining rooms to make room for the admission and examination center. The AUZ is in the adjacent wing, right next to the main entrance,furnished. Here all elective patients are administered and examined administratively and medically.
