The Hanse and University City of Rostock intends to create a permanent extension for the music high school "Kathe Kollwitz". The undeveloped
property for the replacement new building borders directly in the west to the existing school, in the north and east to a residential area and in the south to a oneTram route. The main entrance is based on the main building of the school. The replacement building should enable school operations in music exercise and band rehearsal rooms and accommodate a foyer with a subsequent event hall. A cafeteria with possibilities for
outside seatsis also planned.
