The facility should extensively expand children's numbers and changed legal requirements
and be modernized. The aim is to capacity from currently five to a total of six (6) groups
to increase.
Object planning - buildings and interiors according to HOAI 2021
The local community Essingen intends to award planning services: building planning according to HOAI 2021 for the expansion of a
existing Children's place with currently five groups with an additional 6th group for the care of 0-6 years and up to 150 seats. In addition to the necessary group rooms, a need has been seen in particular:
- a sufficiently large kitchen as a cook and chill
- a dining room
- an additional Material room
- a sufficient number of sanitary rooms for the children and the staff
- a sufficiently large staff room for the employees
Overall, the future room concept is based on the recommendations of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate for the construction of a day care center.
In advance a feasibility study was carried out as the basis for further planning for the expansion of the children's site. The aim was to find a good overall concept in the function and in the operating sequence for the entire building complex (including old building).
