Description:
The Hospitalstiftung's retirement and nursing home in Kaufbeuren currently consists of a building ensemble that has been developed in several construction phases. As part of the construction work, the existing development will be renovated in terms of fire protection in order to comply with current regulations, and aAn extension with barrier-free apartments was built in accordance with DIN 18040 and an old component was demolished in return. As part of the construction project, a central, publicly accessible park will be created for the residents of the retirement home, which will be of high quality and barrier-free and tailored to the needs of the residentsr user is planned.
Currently around 190 people live in the old people's and nursing home. The old people's home operates its own commercial kitchen and laundry, which contribute to the care of the residents throughout the week and will remain in operation throughout the construction phase.
Residential facilities are required for the new buildinggroups planned for 54 residents, consisting of barrier-free single rooms and common rooms with kitchenettes.
