The development of electric motors is still a time-consuming and science-intensive task, which includes many production and test steps. For a holistic understanding of the key indicators for performance, reliability and durability, it is important to pay special attention to the experimental test activities of the key components of the electric motor. For this purpose, it is necessary to carry out a number of external test procedures in the context of the test procedures for the Climaflux project, in which a new electric motor with axial magnetic flow is developed to examine the performance indicators of a number of rotor discs from different types. This movable assembly, the rotor disk, is a key component of the entire electric motor and of particular importance for the successful implementation of the project.
