Expressions of interest procedure
Stationary dewatering and thermal utilization of municipal sewage sludge
The Montabaur municipal utilities are planning a framework agreement for the group sewage treatment plant in the city of Montabaur for the stationary sludge dewatering and thermal utilization of sewage sludgeout.
These are contaminated, non-agricultural sewage sludge in an amount of approx. 30,000 m³ per year. The group sewage treatment plant is designed for 36,000 inhabitantsensure that the operation of the sewage treatment plant is ensured using the existing sludge stacking capacities.
The framework agreement includes:
-the installation and operation of a stationary sludge press at the Montabaur sewage treatment plant. A wet sludge with approx. 2.5% TS ato go out The dry matter content to be achieved should be at least 25%.
-Draining should take place continuously on weekdays Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. The operating personnel must be experienced and qualified.
-There are 3 sludge silos with a total volume of 2,700 m³ on the KAfind. Connection pieces are available for emptying.
-Required additives are to be provided
-Removal of the dried sewage sludge, approx. 2,750 t/a with a dry matter content of at least 25%
-Immediate disposal of the dried sewage sludge by incineration or thermal recycling
