Description:
Hereon currently uses SAP ERP 6.0 EHP8 HCM for personnel administration and accounting. The components personnel administration, personnel time management, payroll accounting, personnel cost planning and commitment management are used to support the personnel management processes. In addition, the Hereon uses SAP Process & Forms, various workflows as well as Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS) based on the SAP portal to accelerate administrative processes. The SAP portal with self-services and the electronic procurement system are in the Hereon intranet is integrated. The system landscape consists of a central system with all modules in a 2-system architecture. SuccessFactors has been in productive use with the recruiting module since October 2025. An external service provider is responsible for the maintenance and support of SF Recruiting ordered. A conversion of the SAP NetWeaver portal 7.5 for employee and manager self-services to an SAP FIORI portal is currently being planned and must be taken into account in the later scope of support or consultant portfolio of the service (ongoing from 2028). Furthermore, it is also running a tender for the "introduction of travel management in Hereon" to replace Notes.
