- As part of the conversion of the AKN route A1 to the S5 S5, the platforms at the Henstedt-Ulzburg, Kaltenkirchen South and Kaltenkirchen train stations are extended and partially increased. The aim is to adapt to the S-Bahn vehicles and to improve accessibility. The platforms Receive a uniform length of 138m and at the ends a increase from 76cm to 96cm above the rail top, each about 15m in length. According to the tender documents
