Description:
The valid 2012 edition of the technical delivery conditions for route stations (TLS) must be continued due to new technical development. In the TLS, the technical requirements as well as the data structures and transmission protocols are defined for the route -side equipment of the traffic control systems on federal highways.
Due to their design, the protocols and data structures defined in the TLS limit increasingly modern applications in their possibilities for narrow -band transmission paths, so that more suitable protocols can be determined. The regulations for IT security (critical infrastructure) are also included in this area.
The communication architecture and the protocols are basically analyzed on the suitability for future new requirements (C2X communication, automated and networked driving (AVF) and electromobility).
