"Determination of basics and valuation methods of a life cycle assessment of the road wintering service"
For the road wintering service, a significant effort is made. The evaluation of different methods and techniques has so far, above all, is mainly due to aspects of traffic safety and economic efficiency. For the evaluation of the ecological overall effects in the sense of a life cycle assessment, hardly any bases, e.g. for use and investment decisions. For reducing climate impact, tools are currently lacking tools for optimizing winter service.
The aim of the project is to create a fullest possible life cycle assessment for the winter service. The following aspects should be considered:
- Impact of the various activities of the winter service (u. A route planning, application time points, vehicle use, scattering and clearing technology / technology, application of different strebats)
- Impact of winter service on the road traffic and its life cycle assessment
- Impact on the environment (u. A. Flora, floors, groundwater)
