Description:
Since 1975, traffic volumes on selected sections of federal highways have been recorded by automatic permanent counting stations. The data collected forms an important basis for a wide range of application areas (e.g. forecasting the number of accidents, determining traffic development, calculation of mileage, traffic planning, etc.). The aim of this research project is to examine and process the survey data of approximately 3,000 transmitted by the Autobahn GmbH des Bundes (AGdB) and the federal states Permanent counting points on federal motorways and federal highways as well as the downstream network.
