Description:
The water levels of the groundwater -fucked lakes Gross Glienicker See and Sacroower See have changed significantly within the past 20 years and also produce strong reactions among the population. The intensive settlement and climatic changes have the resources of the Landscape water balance changed. The lakes of an ice -age drain channel have always been made changes since the last ice age and are now formed by all residents and owners. The water surfaces and the natural shelter space are particularly due to the drop the water levels and the spread of large shallow water areas exposed to a strong ecological change in natural habitats.
