- Feasibility study / planning for the energetic optimization of the Querfurt sewage treatment plant Planning services The city of Querfurt's wastewater treatment systems currently include the operation of mechanical pre-cleaning at the historic location of the sewage treatment plant Querfurt and a 20-year-old wastewater transfer to the Karstdorf sewage treatment plant. The biological cleaning and further sewage sludge treatment take place there. The transfer to the Karsdorf sewage treatment plant is severely damaged and the energy required for it transport is disproportionately high. Therefore, a plan should be developed to optimize wastewater treatment. Previous preliminary studies have shown that replacing the transfer and building a biological purification stage are the most energy efficient option. As part of a feasibility study in service phase 2, a renovation of the bridge should be considered as an additional option. The aim of the planning is the energetic optimization of the existing wastewater treatment as well as the subsequent transfer to Karsdorf, taking all relevant framework conditions into account. This includes planning services according to HOAI in the areas of buildings, engineering structures, technical equipment, EMSR and structural planning necessary.
