The subject of the order to be awarded are project control services for the area of Welheimer Mark as a single measure within the overall project Freiheit Emscher.
FEEG: Welheimer Mark - Project control of the individual measure
Freedom Emscher is a cooperation project of the cities of Essen and Bottrop as well as RAG Montan Immobilien GmbH. The two cities and RAG Montan Immobilien GmbH are partners of the development company (FEEG). Feeg develops a total area of 150 ha. On Essener and Bottrop urban area. The area is divided into five potential areas. The Welheimer area Mark as one of the five former mining areas in the inter -municipal project Freiheit Emscher is initially considered as a potential location for research on the subject of value water. Nevertheless, the area development remains open to other uses. At the Welheimer Mark is an approximately 11 hectare development area excluding compensation areas. The area is largely used today. The aim of the measure is the development of the climate -neutral industrial area of Welheimer Mark, possibly as a real laboratory campus for value water in the field of City of Bottrop. After completion, the implemented measures and areas in public space are handed over to the city of Bottrop (street areas, traffic areas, outdoor facilities, areas for compensation measures, etc.).
