- Delivery, installation and acceptance of a femtosecond laser
The laser system to be obtained is an essential part of the experimental Infrastructure of the "Dali Feasability Lab" from the "Hochfeld-HTZ Distributed Phenomena" at the Institute for Radiation Physics of the HZDR. Goal of the Overall system If it is highly intensive, (carrier envelope) stable, ultra-kurz laser impulses in the middle infrared (MI) spectral range, primarily between 10 and 15 ym wavelength. These light fields and their effect on materials are to be used by means of synchronized femtoseconds (FS) laser impulses Sub-light cycles can be scanned. Thus, the overall system consists of three synchronized components: a) a pumpplaser (amplifier system), b) a high-performance infrared optically parametric amplifier (grandpa), and c) of an ultra-up pulse generator (e.g. non-collinear grandpa = nopa). All three components must be coordinated (in software and hardware), in this combination completely compatible.
