- As part of the ViTA-LE project, a fiber-optic temperature measurement system is to be procured for the Chair of Power Electronics and Electrical Drives at the University of Rostock. This should enable a temperature measurement during operation of the power semiconductor components. For this purpose, the sensor have sufficient stability to be able to pierce the silicone gel layer with the glass fiber. The chip temperature should be measured as precisely as possible during switching operation. A potential-free measurement is required for this, because the measurements are also carried out under high-voltage environmentstake place. Furthermore, the measuring sensors must also be immune to electromagnetic and high-frequency fields.
