- The Prignitz district intends to combat the oak processionary moth in 2026 using aircraft and ground-based sprayers using approved biocides. Fighting EPS from the air The one to be provided The service includes the application of the biocide Foray ES (3l/ha in 35-50 l of water) using helicopters for approximately 600 hectares of oak stands, consisting of individual objects, line and area structures. It must be a powerful helicopter comparable to the Eurocopter Airbus AS 350 model and must be equipped with special permanently installed application technology (e.g. Simplex spray system) and drift-reducing injector nozzles 110_05. The minimum working width is approx. 30 m. Fields, avenues, park areas as well as forest areas and edges are flown over. Furthermore, the procurement of the agent Foray ES for the affected areas is the subject of this tender. Due to the population development of the Oak processionary moths can add or eliminate individual areas.
