The The main building of the Walldorf school center was built in four construction phases from 1970 to 1980 as a reinforced concrete construction with ribbing ceilings on supports and pockets and in 1998 and 2003 in two further sections by a third floor and in two teaching rooms in Steel construction increased. Here the concrete kernels were extended upwards. The remaining part of the 3rd floor was designed as a steel structure with wooden beam ceilings and a trapeze sheet roof. So far, fire protection in the main building was only occurred in the last measures viewed. This procedure is now reaching its limits and is no longer sustainable for the safety of the school building. Therefore, an expert office was commissioned to create the fire protection concept. This resulted in fire protection-technical deficits, whose deposits in must be carefully designed and planned in the coming years so that the building again meets current band protection requirements.
