In the context of the pilot study "Small WatersMonitoring" more than 100 small flow waters of the German agricultural landscape were sampled in 2018/2019 and recorded data on entries of plant-zen protection agents and their degradation products and for the biological stress state of the waters, especially after surface outflow in a row of rain events . From the prepared results of the recorded database from the pilot phase, sound manual recommendations for risk regulation and monitoring should be developed. Already existing measures for the protection of waters should be compared with regard to their efficiency and, if necessary, improvements in risk regulation and risk management of PSM are proposed.
