Description:
Both the European Green Deal and digitization lead to increased linking of fields of action (e.g. climate protection, biodiversity, circular economy, zero pollutant goal on the one hand, as well as artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0), which increasingly requires integrated thinking and coordinated acting in these areas . This also includes the further development of suitable, increasingly double transformation of digitization and sustainability of oriented policy approaches. This presents environmental administrations as well as other involved actors with new challenges.
On the one hand, the research project is intended to edit content-related issues about actors and networks at Nexus digitization and sustainability at EU level and develop solutions how "Missing Links" can be bridged between the political fields. On the other hand, the study should show ways how hierarchical organizations can be better enabled to pursue systemic policy approaches and what role networks can play here.
