In the project, an overview of the current status of the use of herbal biomass in products as well as the type and origin of this biomass and the possibly existing political objectives and regulations should be given. At the core of the project, the ecological and social assessment of certification systems for the cultivation or extraction of renewable, vegetable raw materials for material use as well as checking their effectiveness for selected focus (e.g. climate effect and biodiversity). The knowledge from the process should be implemented in a practical manner as recommendations for action for the further development of the blue angel.
