Refoplan: "Development of a measurement concept for the validation of the civilian new aircraft classes for the instructions for calculating noise protection areas (AZB) and the calculation method for the ambient noise of airfields (BUF)" (Langtitel)
Short title: "Development of a measurement concept for validating the aircraft classes AZB"
After the calculation procedure BUF newly specified for the application to German airports was used for the first time in the EU noise mapping in 2022, it was recognizable that the new calculation procedure was partly leading to significant deviations compared to the previous procedures and to be available. For these calculations, a aircraft class division developed by the DLR was used, which is also to be used for amendment to the Aircraft Noise Protection Act or the revision of the underground regulations AZB. In this project, a measurement concept is to be developed in this project for this aircraft group classification including your new flight operational and acoustic approaches that enables the data basis to be validated from 15 to 30 km away to an airport.
