• ReFoPlan: “Everyone aboard please - consumer protection in mobility: How can the transport transition combat mobility poverty?” Ensuring mobility is central when it comes to people's access to education, health care and social services To ensure participation and employment. At the same time, mobility is one of the main causes of greenhouse gas emissions, noise and air pollution. Some people are already affected by mobility poverty, either because of different reasons For reasons you may not be as mobile as you need to be or may have to incur disproportionately high costs for your mobility. In order to ensure mobility for all people and at the same time minimize the environmental and climate-damaging effects, Climate social measures are needed that reduce mobility poverty and car dependency at the same time. As part of this research project, the focus will be on citizens affected by mobility poverty. Based on their Realities of life, suitable climate social measures should be developed and tested that reduce car dependency and increase mobility. As part of broad citizen participation, these citizens should discuss their mobility budgets discussed and possible climate social measures discussed and tested. Based on all findings, concrete climate-social measures are being developed to reduce mobility poverty in Germany.
