Refoplan: "Innovative/sustainable techniques: Definition of the best available techniques for landfills in Europe; accompanying projects for German participation in the Sevilla process"
According to Art. 13 of the industrial issue guideline (IE directive), an EU-wide information exchange (Sevilla process) takes place via the "best available techniques" (BVT). The resulting BVT conclusions contain binding requirements for the approval of industrial plants and thus adapt the environmental standards in Europe.
This project serves to support the UBA in the development of the BAT leaflet for landfills (LAN-Bref). This exchange has already started for the newly created LAN bleed.
Here, the contractors should provide (office) organizational and content support in the creation of the LAN pension. In addition, the contractor creates position papers and takes part in the meetings nationally and at the EU level.
