In the area of chemicals, waste and pollution, the global community on the way is to decide to establish a World Chemical Council in June 2025. In the future, this is intended to create the scientific foundations that enable the international community to take effective measures to prevent and combat pollution through chemicals.
In the sense of representing German needs and interests and based on the organization of the training from the German side to the World Climate (IPCC), it is advisable to set up a German coordination center for the World Chemical Council.
This feasibility study is intended to identify essential tasks and processes of a German coordination office for the World Chemical Council.
