• ReFoPlan 2026: “Potential for efficient water use in the industrial, agricultural and public water supply sectors” The effects of climate change mean that water requirements in some sectors are expected to increase further. The aim is to examine which legal and socio-economic framework conditions are beneficial or hindering to exploit this potential and which undesirable negative environmental impacts should be taken into account. Recommendations for action should be derived based on the results. The research project is based on Action 10 of the National Water Strategy and contributes to the implementation of the European Water Resilience Strategy.
