• Description:
• ReFoPlan: “Nationwide reference values for climate change adaptation for “public bodies (KAnG §8.1)”” For the project, the German Weather Service (DWD) provides climate parameters that consist of a climate adaptation reference warming path (working title, short: KARE). Based primarily on this preparatory work, the following work should be carried out in this project: - together with standardization actors (e.g. specialist committees and associations for norms, standards, guidelines and technical rules) develop and test a higher-level procedure (in the form of a guide) and specific procedures for selected areas of application in infrastructure sectors (e.g. water supply) in order to achieve a possible KARE there to specify and operationalize (if possible by deriving technical reference and threshold values ​​as well as technical design limits); - together with experts from the federal states, with the involvement of other public bodies (TöA) and relevant actors, develop an overarching procedure (in the form of a guide) and selected sector-specific procedures with which a possible KARE can be translated into the concrete actions of all affected TöA, i.e. h. for adaptation planning can be operationalized and integrated into planning processes; - develop a procedural proposal together with experts from the federal states, including relevant actors, in order to provide the data and climate services necessary for all actors Operationalization of a KARE to be made available as coherently and low-threshold as possible nationwide (free of charge, bundled, practical); - reflect on the developed procedures in terms of transferability to other areas of application and sectors Derive overarching recommendations for a federal framework (measures, instruments).
