REFOPLAN Title: "Practical recovery factors for UNFCCC F-gas inventories - Determination of practical recovery factors for fluorinated tools from heat pumps, refrigeration and air conditioning systems and electrical equipment to improve UNFCCC F gas inventors"
The disposal of HFCs and HFCs from their use as refrigerants and SF6 from use as extinguishing and insulating agents in switchgear and equipment has increasing the proportion of the emissions of fluorinated greenhouse gases in Germany.
The models and factors used (average lifetimes, recovery rates and residual levels at the end of the lifetime) for the calculation of disposal emissions come from the years 2011/2012 and no longer reflect the current national disposal practice. They should therefore be subject to a reality check, checked for new findings and current data availability and adapted to the state of the art.
