Evuplan: "Implementation of renovation measures to support municipal heat planning"
The research project aims to strengthen the integration of building renovations into municipal heat planning. With the Heat Planning Act (WPG), a nationwide obligation to create local heat plans has been introduced since January 1, 2024. While the future heat supply is planned in terms of spatial and strategic, the systematic integration of building renovations has so far remained a weak point, although energy-efficient renovations for the technical and economic feasibility of climate-neutral heat supply are indispensable.
The aim of the project is to develop practical approaches to the stronger anchoring of renovation in municipal heat planning. National and international practical examples are examined in which renovation measures have been successfully integrated into municipal planning and implementation processes.
