EVUPLAN: "Doring the water with heat pumps - energy -efficient and hygienically harmless"
The project aims to develop technical, economic and legal solutions for the conflict of goals between energy efficiency and drinking water hygiene. The focus is on target compatible solutions, for example with regard to regulations and approval procedures.
The project is intended to show whether and how an efficient operation of the heat pump can be guaranteed, while ensuring preventive health protection and drinking water hygiene, including estimates on the profitability of different measures for heat generation and heat distribution.
The examination is intended to concentrate on buildings with so -called large systems for heating drinking water, i.e. apartment buildings and other buildings with central drinking water heating. Buildings with special requirements for drinking water hygiene such as hospitals and care facilities are not the subject of this project.
