• Klifoplan: “Development and evaluation of proposals for the full inclusion of the non-CO2 effects of aviation in the European emissions trading from 2028” Since 2025, the non-CO2 effects of air traffic have been monitored, Reporting and verification system (MRV system) included in the EU ETS 1, i.e. aircraft operators must determine and report the climate impact of these effects without being obliged to submit them. The primary goal of the project is to develop concepts in advance of the publication of this proposal as to whether and how full inclusion can sensibly take place.
