Description:
An extruder downstream line for the production of flat films is to be purchased.
A twin-screw extruder (Micro 27 GL/GG, L/D 40, manufactured in 2008, Leistritz Extrusionstechnik GmbH, Nuremberg) to operate the planned film follow-up line is already available and is currently being used forused to produce granules or pipe profiles. The extruder is to receive a new control system to control the speeds of the screws and the temperatures of the barrel sections, as well as the two existing gravimetric feeders from Brabender. TheThe main feed is a Brabender FlexWall(r)Plus type ISC-FC, DDW-MD5-FW40/5. A Brabender Single Screw Feeder DDW-MD3-DSR28N-20-ISC serves as side loading.
The new melt pump and the wide slot die to be procured as part of the project are also to be monitored and monitored by the new control systemThe extruder in its current configuration is primarily used in practical courses on plastics technology and in the production of experimental compounds for industrial and research projectsof the existing extruder.
