Refoplan: "Socially compatible instruments for environmental protection: Toolbox for the evaluation and development of environmental policy and environmental -relevant measures from a social point of view (toolbox social environmental policy)" In principle, environmental policy can develop a wide range of social benefits. However If they are not socially acceptable or embedded in flanking policy mixes, environmental policy measures can have negative social effects. The aim of the project is to develop a toolbox. With this toolbox, environmental policy measures (e.g. resource use, Circular economy) are analyzed and evaluated on their possible social effect (costs and benefits) and development opportunities are shown that increase the social compatibility of the measure. The toolbox should be in several concrete practical examples in the development of measures of the Environmental resorts are tested iteratively. In addition, a needs analysis should be carried out which capacities would be required for an institutionalized impact analysis in the department.
