For the class type buildings at the Fritz Schumacher School In Hamburg, a serial energy-saving renovation of buildings 02, 03, 04, 05 and 08 is to be carried out. This involves a new building shell in Prefabricated wooden construction was realized and the renovation standard Efficiency House 4 EE (KfW 40) was achieved. In addition, green roofs with PV systems are being built and the heat supply is being converted to heat pumps, including replacing the heating surfaces. Inside, the cloakrooms are in Differentiation areas converted and the sanitary areas restructured. A barrier-free toilet will be built in each house on the ground floor and general accessibility will be achieved. A new tea kitchen will also be set up for each house on the ground floor. The floor and ceiling coverings as well the electrics are being replaced. The DGNB Gold Standard is being sought for the renovation. Before the renovation, pollutant removal is carried out, essentially removing asbestos-containing wall and ceiling plaster.
