- SBH | School Construction Hamburg, as the state company of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), has the task of planning, building, maintaining the school properties according to economic principles, taking school interests into account to manage and rent the more than 400 schools to the Authority for Schools and Vocational Training (BSB). --------------- For the class type buildings at the Fritz Schumacher School in Hamburg, a serial energy-efficient renovation of buildings 02, 03, 04, 05 and 08 can be carried out. Here, a new building shell is realized using prefabricated timber construction and the renovation standard Efficiency House 4 EE (KfW 40) is achieved. In addition, green roofs are being built with PV systems and the conversion of the Heat supply via heat pumps including renewal of the heating surfaces implemented. Inside, the cloakrooms will be converted into differentiation areas and the sanitary areas will be restructured. There will be one barrier-free toilet in each house on the ground floor built and general accessibility achieved. A new tea kitchen will also be set up for each house on the ground floor. The floor and ceiling coverings as well as the electrical system are being replaced. The DGNB Gold Standard is being sought for the renovation.
