Economic Development Sachsen GmbH (WFS) accompanies as a subsidiary of the Free State of Saxony The Saxon economy in the initiation of cooperations, supports globally operational in the development of new sales markets, operates marketing for the business location Saxony and acquires worldwide industrial investors for the Free State of Saxony. The Saxon Ministry of Economics, Work and Transport (SMWA) and the Saxon Ministry of Energy, Climate Protection, Environment and Agriculture (Smekul) commission the WFS annually with the organization of approximately twenty trade fair participations in Germany and other European countries. The WFS organizes joint stands for Saxon companies where they usually participate between five and 20 exhibitors.; For 2022 - pandemiebings are planned - only 15 trade fair projects in Europe, of which about 10 in Germany take place.
