- The AKSWV specialist application (Information system plant master data water supply) serves to record and maintain the master data for the water supply of Rhineland-Palatinate. With this application, the related data of the water supply operators, waterworks, water versions and water protection areas are Captured and stored in a structured manner according to their hierarchical relationships. The master data of the AKSWV database are both from the various departments in water management administration and the health administration, especially for the drinking water information system (Twist) used. In turn, the specialist application AKSWV uses the measured values stored in the raw and drinking water master database and indicates information in the associated objects of the water supply. AKSWV supports institutions of water management at the Data management for drinking water supply through a combination of GIS and web technology. The core of AKSWV is the transfer of information from the AKSWV database via inter- or intranet. This enables the availability of data regardless of the location of the respective user.
