Framework agreement for advice on investments in the infrastructure equity asset class of the additional pension fund of the city of Cologne
The additional pension fund of the city of Cologne (hereinafter ZVK or client) has, in accordance with Section 1 of its statutes, the task of providing the employees of its current 40 members with additional old-age, incapacity and survivors' benefits. It is a special fund of the city of Cologne (Section 97 Paragraph 1 Number 4 of the North Rhine-Westphalia Municipal Code).
The Fund assets must be invested in accordance with the provisions of the law on municipal pension funds and additional pension funds in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (VKZVKG NRW). According to Section 16 Paragraph 1 VKZVKG, stability of value, liquidity and the highest possible return must be ensured. In an appropriate way Mixing and scattering must be taken into account. Due to its statutory task and in accordance with the state law provisions in North Rhine-Westphalia, the ZVK is subject to the provisions of the federal law on the supervision of insurance companies in the currently valid form Version (VAG) application.
