Description:
The State Office for the Environment of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate (LfU), which appears here as the client (AG), investigates on the basis of the Water Framework Directive (Directive 2013/39/EU of the European Parliament and Council of August 12, 2013 amending the 2000 guidelines /60/EG and 2008/105/EG) and dhe Ordinance for the Protection of Surface Waters of June 20, 2016 (OGewV) for organic trace substances among other things. Group "Agriculture" in the EG Micromin), the International Commission for the Protection of the Moselle and the Saar (IKSMS), the Surface Water Ordinance (OGewV) and other measuring programs in the area of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
Within the scope of these measuring programs, surface waters are to be checked for selected organic SPure substances, especially PSM and AZM, are analyzed.
The LfU, together with the regional offices of the Structure and Approval Directorates South and North of Rhineland-Palatinate (SGDen), regularly takes water samples for these purposes. The LfU takes over the coordination of the sampling and stores dfrom this to analysis in his laboratory in Mainz (55122). Since the LfU laboratory is not set up to carry out the entire analysis, part of it has to be commissioned from an external third party.
