Description: The University Hospital RWTH Aachen (UKA) writes a framework agreement i.S. Section 21 of the Award Ordinance (VGV) for delivery and services for providing a high-performance calculation (HPC) infrastructure based on graphics processors (GPU) for the development and application of algorithms of artificial intelligence in computer-aided pathology. The infrastructure must consist of the following three components: (1) GPU systems as calculation units, (2) storage server as memory units, as well as (3) an infiniband networking for data transmission. The contractor must provide the hardware and software, create the overall system, bring about the operational readiness of the overall system to the client (AG) and take over the system service.
The infrastructure offered must offer performant data transmission through the networking of all systems using infiniband compounds to an overarching HPC system.
