Description:
It is intended to carry out an open award procedure in accordance with §15 VGV with the aim of concluding a framework agreement with several companies. It is important to the contractual body and the clients, a variety of manufacturers, product and solution, as well as a competition within the lived practice of the framework agreement. An open procedure is to be published at the earliest after the summer vacation period, probably in September/October 2025. Using the framework agreements to be concluded, a regular coverage of the HPC/AI Benarfles in the area of the maximum performance calculation and the needs for special and highly performant infrastructure are guaranteed. Furthermore, the necessary technical basis for current and future research and research services at the ZIB, as well as further connected and Berlin science institutions and their cooperation/project partners* are ensured. Individual HPC/AI special systems in the area of the HPC performance class Tier-3 are to be procured from the framework agreement to be concluded.
